Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cottage cheese drained
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Warm water
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil or any oil you prefer
  • 1 tbsp Sugar optional

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the cottage cheese, olive oil, and warm water, and mix until a dough begins to form.
  • If using sugar, add it at this stage. Mix everything thoroughly until the dough is smooth and slightly sticky.
  • Lightly flour your surface and roll the dough out into a thin round or oval shape, about ¼ inch thick.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the rolled-out flatbread into the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown spots appear.
  • Remove the flatbread from the skillet and serve warm. Enjoy it as a side with your favorite dips or as a wrap for your favorite fillings!

Notes

If you prefer a crispier flatbread, you can brush the top with a little more olive oil before cooking. You can also add herbs like oregano or thyme to the dough for extra flavor.
